“Daily” for Apple iPad is now expected to launch on January 17. “Daily” is a new blog owned by News Corp. The launch of ‘Daily’ is been changing dates every now and then. Last release date was announced to be in December; however, January 17 seems like the final launch date. At one starge, there were rumors that Apple will launch iPad 2 and “Daily” together.

According to rumors, Daily’s cost is 99 cents per week and it would be updated on daily basis. It will depend on several multimedia features. Daily is most likely going to debut in conjunction with an application subscription plan for frequent bills that Apple is expected to launch with an update to its iOS mobile operating system.

The Daily for iPadAccording to Apple insider, Peter Kafka of MediaMemo says: “That offering won’t resolve Apple’s dispute with conventional publishers, who want to be able to control their subscriptions or at least get access to subscriber data for iTunes app versions of their print products. But for new, digital-only products like the Daily, that data isn’t as crucial, and the ability to set up a recurring subscription would be a big step forward.”
